
What to Expect
Step 1: Initial Phone Call
We will arrange a time for us to talk over the phone. During this call, I’ll answer your questions and understand what you’re looking for in therapy, ensuring that I am the right fit for you. If we’re ready to take the next step, we will go ahead to our first appointment.
Step 2: Mental Health Care Plan (Optional)
A Medicare rebate of $87.20 is available with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or a referral from a psychiatrist. This step is not compulsory.
Step 3: Our First Session
In our first session, I’ll take the time to understand what has brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll explore your past experiences to put your current challenges into context.
Our work will focus on understanding where you’ve come from, gaining clarity on your present situation, and defining your future goals. This collaborative approach will help us identify the most supportive path forward.
Throughout this process, I will guide you at a pace that feels right for you. You’re always welcome to let me know if anything feels overwhelming or uncomfortable; your comfort and control are central to this journey.
